For the past week and coming weeks, the students taking anatomy and physiology will be in their dissection part of the year. The students are dissecting fetal pigs, and they will be studying muscles and the brain later on if they choose to do so. At the end of dissection, students will have an exam on the different types of muscles and they will also have to compare them to the human body. As the students learn about the pig muscles, they will also be looking at how they relate to human muscles. The students have dissection groups of 2 or 4 people per group, the limit to make sure everyone has a role and room to see. All of the groups are having a blast!
