The boys basketball team improved greatly over the season, gaining 7 more wins after last year. Carter Burdue was one of the main reasons why LC had their success on the hardwood. Burdue averaged 14.6 points per game (ppg) and 5.9 rebounds per game (rpg). Trent Murdock averaged 9.6 ppg and 5.3 rpg as well. The team’s best wins this year were against Fayette, Bryan, and Liberty Benton in the tournament. The team next year will consist of 3 starters of this year’s team back in action, also gaining Aaron Shafer who was injured this year.
