On Sunday, February 10th, the Liberty Center cheerleaders competed at the OASSA Regional Cheerleading Competition. The Tigers made it out of Regionals, and are now working their way to the State Cheerleading Competition. The competition will be hosted at St. John Arena in Columbus on Sunday, March 10. The Tiger cheerleaders feel pressured as they are preparing for state. The cheerleaders have won state for the last two years. The girls are working hard to try to earn another state title. Their coaches say, ¨It is hard to get on top, but it is even harder to stay on top.¨ The girls are practicing every day in hope to stay on top for another year. The Liberty Center Competition team will be showcasing their routine at halftime of the varsity boys’ basketball game on Saturday. The basketball team will be playing Ottawa Glandorf. Feel free to come out and watch the girls as they show the community what they have been working for.
