The Tigers played an intense week of basketball this past week. Both games, Evergreen and Elmwood, were very intense and fast-paced games. Carter Burdue had 30 points against the Elmwood Royals, but the Tigers couldn’t keep up with the Royals during the last few minutes of the game. Although the outcomes from both games were not how the Tigers wanted it to be, they are preparing for their games this week.

On Friday, January 18, the Tigers will battle the Delta Panthers at the Liberty Center Varsity Gymnasium. The JV game begins at 6:00 pm, and the varsity game will follow, beginning at approximately 7:30 pm. Both the Tigers and the Panthers are entering the game with a 3-7 record.

On Saturday, January 19, the Liberty Center Tigers will be playing against the Otsego Knights at Otsego High School. This will be a non-league game. The JV game will tip-off at 6:00 pm and the varsity game will begin at approximately 7:30 pm. The Knights currently have a 5-4 record. Please come out and support the Tigers as they play two very competitive games this weekend.
