On Monday, December 10, there was a surprise retirement party hosted for Superintendent Dr. Tod Hug. Dr. Hug will be retiring at the end of the 2018. The reception took place in the auditeria before the board meeting began. The community was welcome to come and help make the event a special night for Dr. Hug. There were pieces of cake, cookies, and lemonade served to help celebrate. During the event, Dr. Hug was presented with a plaque by the board of education, which honored him for his service to education. Dr. Hug will be missed dearly. The Liberty Center students and faculty wish him the best of luck with his retirement.
