On Wednesday, October 24, the Liberty Center FFA chapter left school to head out to Indianapolis for the 2018 National FFA Convention. When we got there on Wednesday, we went to our hotel rooms and settled or things. After the hotel we went out to eat at a Texas Roadhouse that was conveniently located next to our hotel, then we made our way to the Garth Brooks concert. The concert was a huge event for the convention because Garth Brooks concerts are normally expensive and his performances are very well put together.
The sessions of the convention started with an impressive laser light show and had very interesting guest speakers including an comedian that taught valuable life lessons and even an representative from Microsoft talking about their work with agriculture to improve the efficiency of water usage. Finally we went to an expo that had multiple different companies and a mall to buy gifts and novelties.
