The Liberty Center Girls Soccer team has been unstoppable throughout their season. The girls have won 6 games and tied one game against Napoleon. The Lady Tigers have scored roughly 50 goals in their six games, and goalie Riley Miller has only let 3 goals past her. The Lady Tigers are sitting undefeated in NWOAL, and their goal is to bring home the first girls soccer league title. “This year, we have great numbers and even better players. Not only do we have talent on the field, but we also have talent on the bench. There truly isn’t is a weak spot anywhere on the field, and that’s what sets us apart from other teams” said head coach Dave Busick. The Tigers plan to keep their winning streak alive while they continue to compete throughout their season.

To show support to the ladies undefeated season, you should catch some soccer action this Saturday at Tiger Stadium. Both the girls and boys soccer teams will be playing in their annual Kick for a Cause game. Come out and help the Liberty Center community raise money for the Make a Wish foundation. The teams host this event in honor of all the past and present individuals who have battled cancer in their community. The boys’ team will kick off the night as they play Napoleon at 5 pm. The girls’ team will follow at approximately 7 pm, as they battle against Wauseon.
