On Monday, May 21st, the high school and middle school spring choir concert will take place in the auditeria. Each choir will sing three individual pieces, as well as a mass, and a mass-mass choir piece.
Individually, the Advanced Choir will sing “Colors of the Wind,” “Lost Boy,” and “The Climb.” The Middle School Chorus will sing “Pinball Wizard,””Something Just Like This,” and “Some Nights.” The Sixth Grade Choir will sing “Chained To The Rhythm,” “Gone, Gone, Gone,” and “Fight Song.” The middle school’s mass piece, “You Will Be Found,” is to honor Quentin Espinoza, a middle school student who committed suicide earlier this year.
The high school A Capella choir will sing “Too Good at Goodbyes,” “Jolene,” and “Your Song.” The Chamber Choir will sing “Shambala,” “Over The Rainbow,” and “On Top Of The World.” The high school mass piece, “Baba Yetu,” is to honor two high school students, Annabelle Tipton and Darren Pinson, who passed away suddenly earlier this year.
The mass-mass piece (all high school and middle school choirs sing) is “Believer” by the Imagine Dragons.
