The first day of the district track meet for Liberty Center took place yesterday at Archbold. There were quite a few athletes for the Tigers that moved on. This included the boys 4×800 team that broke the district record with a time of 8:14.27 and will now compete at the regional meet. All of the other relay teams also qualified for Saturday’s finals. For the 110 meter hurdles, Maguire Vollmar and Jacob Romine qualified for finals. Blaise Miller and Kyle Rauch each qualified for finals in the 1600 meter run. Parker Strauss and Zach Bowers qualified for the 400 meter race as well. Also, Nathan Meller and Weston Kundo moved on to finals in the 800 meter run. Keaton Oehler got the Tigers a point and a half clearing 5-06.00. Overall, Liberty Center is in fourth place with 11.5 points so far.
