The metal building at Liberty Center’s Spring sports complex has gained a new look thanks to the community and spring sports teams. On Tuesday, the baseball team carried out the old black mats so that the buildings project could begin its progress towards completion. On Saturday, the track and softball teams helped sweep and carry all the other things out of the metal building to allow for new turf to be placed. The turf was paid for by the athletic boosters, with the school’s maintenance staff unloading the turf. As of Wednesday, the outside sports now have a new and improved place to practice. From all spring sports, we thank the boosters for the upgrade of the metal building and all the hard work for installing it.
