Tuesday was the last time the girls basketball team would play at home. It was also senior night and 8 senior girls were recognized for their contributions to the program and the school. Meghan Skeens, Olivia Leatherman, Peyton Speith, Sydni Altman, Kenzie Detemer, Hannah Detmer, Hanna Jeffers and Jerica Hollenbaugh. They have had a great season with a record of 13-9 .

The senior night game was one to remember for the girls. They started out the game really strong and were up by 11. The half time score was 25 to 23. Then late in the game down by 7. They went on a run late to win by 2, with a final score of 50 to 48. The leading scorers were Spieth with 16, Leatherman with 14, and Skeens with 9. They also broke the record for the most 3 point baskets in a game with 11, the previous record was 10. Leatherman had 4, Spieth and Skeens had 3 and Altman had 1. The girls play Montpellier at Bluffton in the first round of the sectional tournament at 6pm on February 21.
