On Sunday, Panera Bread recalled packets of cream cheese after a sample was found to contain listeria. Five types of cream cheese are being pulled from the shelves-Plain, Reduced-Fat Plain, Reduced-Fat Chive & Onion, Reduced-Fat Honey Walnut and Reduced-Fat Wild Blueberry. Panera’s CEO stated that only one 2-oz container was contaminated, but Panera wants to go above and beyond to make sure their food is safe, hence the large recall. The affected containers expire on or before April 2nd, 2018.
