Dwyane Wade recently signed a one year, $2.3 million deal with Cleveland Cavaliers. Wade gave up $8 million of his $23.8 million contract with the Chicago Bulls that allowed the deal to occur according to Bleacher Report. Multiple teams were looking at signing Wade such as Oklahoma City, San Antonio, and Miami. According to ESPN in an interview Wade stated, “I look forward to reuniting and playing alongside my brother LeBron. We’ve already won two championships together and I hope we win a third.”

With this deal the question that is asked is, is it enough to top the Golden State Warriors this upcoming season? The Cavaliers have also gained other players this offseason including Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic. LeBron seems to be very happy with this deal, they have played together before and have great chemistry between the two of them. LeBron was also happy to keep Wade from everyone else. LeBron also said that adding Wade added championship to DNA to the team.
