Ever wondered why we have to take 4 hours of our day to take a long test? Well, besides to brag about how well you did to your friends, it has many important aspects. The ACT is designed by educators who know what you are supposed to learn during high school, and they base the tests off of those curriculums. This means that the material on the test is about things you have learned and not random educational knowledge that you may not have learned about. The educators also run the ACT as a non-profit organization, so it is cheaper to take than other assessment tests. The ACT is also accepted by most colleges in the U.S., so you don’t have to take multiple tests to apply to different colleges.
