The Liberty Center boys basketball team has their first tournament game on Friday, March 4th. The Liberty-Benton Eagles are the opponent for the Tigers this week. This tough opponent the Tigers are playing is ranked number one in the district with 20 wins and only 2 losses. The Eagles have a strong 6’5” player who averages more than 20 points a game. He also tallies more than 10 rebounds in many games. He has already made plans to play basketball at The University to Findlay. The coach of the Liberty Center basketball team, Greg Badenhop, says that if he and his team have confidence and play with an edge, they can win any game. The game is at Defiance High School and will be the second game of the evening. Tip-off is scheduled to be sometime around 8:00 pm.
