On February 28th at 7 O’Clock in the New Gym, the Liberty Center music department will be hosting a concert for high school ensembles. The groups performing are The Liberty Center Wind Symphony, Chamber Choir, Women’s Choir, and Honor’s Choir. The concert will include pieces prepared for an OMEA contest, which includes three pieces for each group. The contest is hosted on March 3rd for the choirs and March 4th for the Wind Symphony. The Wind Symphony pieces include: Stone Gardens by Robert W. Smith, How Firm Thy Friendship by James Swearingen, and Visions of Glory by David Shaffer.
