The Liberty Center boys basketball team had a long trip over to Edon Tuesday night for a non-league game. Going into the game, Edon’s record was 3-14 and Liberty’s record was 7-10. In the junior varsity game, it was a tied game at halftime with the score of 15-15. Liberty Center brought the heat the second half and went on a 22-4 run to win it for the Tigers, 37-19. The varsity game had an interesting start with the Tigers trailing at halftime, 36 -27. The Tigers went on a 16 to 4 run in the 3rd quarter. The Tigers ended up taking the win at the end of the game with a final score of 70 to 65.
