The Liberty Center Competition Cheerleading team is excited for this once in a lifetime chance. On Sunday, February 12 at 1:00, the Liberty Center Cheerleading team will go to the Sylvania Northview High School and compete at the Northwest Regional Competition. Other schools joining the Tigers on this adventure are Tinora, Holgate, and Anthony Wayne. There are 15 girls on the Tiger team that get to experience this fun, yet very competitive, competition. Three seniors that get this awesome experience are Lexi Davis, Jenna Volmer, and Amanda Barnes. Leading the cheerleaders are coaches Shelley Davis and Liz Spangler. While the girls will be having fun competing, they will also be focused on winning to advance onto state. Only the top 4 schools move on to state. If the Tigers advance, the final competition will be held at St. John Arena on March 5th. They are very excited for their once in a lifetime opportunity.
