The NFL’s Super Bowl was Sunday night in NRG stadium in Houston, Texas. It is estimated that over 100 million Americans tuned in to watch Super Bowl 51. The two teams who faced off in Super Bowl 51 were the Atlanta Falcons and Tom Brady’s New England Patriots. George and Barbara Bush were the ones to do the annual coin toss. Three quarters into the Super Bowl, it seemed like the Atlanta Falcons had the momentum and was going to win the game with the score of 28 to 9. Tom Brady and the Patriots had an outstanding comeback to send it into overtime with the score of 28 to 28. This was the first game in Super Bowl history to ever go into overtime. The Patriots led the charge in overtime to beat the Falcons 34 to 28 with Tom Brady awarded as the MVP of the Super Bowl.
