The USC Trojans faced off against the Penn State Nittany Lions for the 2017  Rose Bowl. The Rose Bowl was held in Pasadena, California, in UCLA’s home stadium. The game was held on January 2nd and was broadcasted live at 5:00 PM.  Both teams came into the game with pretty much the same record. USC had 10 wins and 3 losses, while Penn State had 11 wins and 3 losses. It was a very high scoring game. At halftime the score was 21-14 with Penn State taking the lead. Penn State was looking like they were going to take the easy win until the fourth quarter when they got shut out by 14 points and then USC hit a field goal with no time remaining to win the game. It was definitely a game to remember for the USC football team.
