The Spanish group going to Puerto Rico held a daddy-daughter dance to raise money for the trip on Friday, December 9th. The dance was held in the old gym from 7:30 to 9:30 on Friday night. The dance was open to all girls in grades K-5. There were over 170 girls that came to the dance along with their fathers.

In addition to admission prices, flowers were also for sale. There was also a photo booth set up on the stage and props for the girls to pose with their dads and friends. A DJ was brought in along with lights, a fog machine, and a video monitor. Gift baskets were also provided for each grade by the parents of the Puerto Rico trip participants. There was also a table of cookies and punch available to the girls and dads. Altogether, the fundraiser was ruled to be very successful.
