On Friday, December 9, the Liberty Center lady bowlers lost a close battle to the Wauseon Indians. The girls were within 41 pins of the Wauseon total of 1,141. Leading the Tigers in individual games were Lillian McLaughlin with a 210 and Taylor Snyder with a 187, both in their second games. For the Indians, Mackayla Kearney scored the highest with a 201 in her second game and Summer Brown with a 178 in her first game. The highest baker game of the night, for the ladies, came from Wauseon with a game of 206.  Liberty Center girls lost the match but won the baker games with a total of 502 and Wauseon with 488. The boys and girls bowling teams have a chance to redeem themselves after the tough loss to the Indians, this Friday when they take on the Bryan Bears at four o’clock at River City Bowlaway.
