On Saturday October 15, the Liberty Center Tiger cross country teams competed in the NWOAL Championships. The girls got out to a quick lead and ended up league champs for the third year in a row. Emma Babcock was the individual league champ and Maddie Atkinson was the runner-up. The boys had tough competition against the Wauseon Indians and ended up finishing as league runner-ups. Cameron Stark was the individual runner-up along with Kyle Rauch finishing 5th, and Tanner Rauch taking 6th.

The LC Tigers cross country teams head to Ottawa for the District Championships on Saturday, October 22. The girls are ranked third and the boys are ranked fourth in the district. The boys race first at 4:00 followed by the girls race at 4:45. The top five teams from each race will move on to the regional championships the following Saturday.
